Solution RazerZ May 6, 2014 Go to control panel> uninstall a program> then look for the mouse driver and uninstall it. Then restart the pc and insert the disk.

Wouldn't that make my mouse not work though so I couldn't shut it off or move my mouse to pick the configuratior? Upvote 0 Downvote

It might, but it's worth a shot if you have another mouse around. The mice I've used so far don't need the drivers to function. Upvote 0 Downvote
