Odd FPS issue.

My CPU is at 37.7% Load. My GPU is at 50-60% Load and I'm only getting 30-50 FPS on Ultra playing Planetside 2. Is there a compatibility issue with PS2?

i7 4770k at stock 3.5
SLI'd GTX 780 Classifieds (only one running right now.) Using Latest Driver
8GB's Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM

Now I play BF4 at Ultra at 90-100+FPS Average.
This system easily manages any game I throw at it just fine.

So what the hell is my problem?

It was acting like it wasn't trying to utilize the power of my system and scaling it back... CPU max temperature was 78*C and my GPU was 62*C

Is the game actually using your SLI setup, or is it only using one GTX 780?

I have SLI disabled and I took out the other card and tried again same issue.

the game sounds like it has either a graphics memory leak, which could be due to poor coding. The drivers you may be using also may be corrupt for that game, try an earlier version and see if that helps, otherwise, it's the game itself that's the issue.

it may be the only explanation, as if the SLI setup works on every other game well, then it's not hardware, and it also excludes most software.

your graphics card temps are also great for SLI, just for reference.

That was non SLI Temps and it's low for single even AVG on sing is about 75* under load.

Your CPU, is that 37.7% load the combined load for the whole thing (all 4 cores/8 threads)? Are any of the cores/threads at 100% on their own? I remember Planetside 2 used to be pretty awful in the past when it came to using multiple cores. I haven't played it in quite a while, but I seem to remember it only really taxing 1 core, with just a few bits done by the others. Check if it's actually maxing out 1, 2, or maybe even 3 of your cores/threads (37.7% would equate to 3 cores/threads maxed out to 100%).

It's probably better optimized now, but I thought I'd better mention it, just in case it isn't!
