Hi. Will the Corsair 650W VS650 be enough for the Radeon R9 290?

On the Graphics card box it says "600W minimum" So will it be safe to run it with that power-supply? It also says it needs 1x 8pin and 1x 6 pin.. Does that PSU also have that stuff?.. I'm a noob sorry ;w;

Get a TX/HX650 for your 290. Do it some justice.

But am I able to use the Corsair 650W VS650? Because I already own this on my current desktop. Was thinking of using it for my new build.

How old is it? If it's more than 2 years old, don't use it. The VS650 is not a very good PSU, and the 290 is a demanding card.

It's only about 3-4 months old.

that PSU is fine, no need to worry! You can easily run a R9 290 of a Corsair VS650, with watt headroom to spare. Even if it were 2 years old, it would still be good to use.

It is sufficient, yes, but it's not good quality. That's why I said, if it's older than 2 years, buy a new TX/HX650.
If it's 4 months old, you could use it.

it is good enough quality, even for 2 years it is fine, it does have a three year warranty and is sure to last longer then that, but it is not designed for overclocking, so leaving everything stock, it will be fine.

How about if I get the Corsair 750W CX-750M ? Is that better? Can I OC with this?

that PSU is not high quality but it has more headroom, your current PSU is fine.

Corsair CX is not meant for OC, your current can do ok OC on the GPU and you shall be fine.

Sorry for asking many questions, but how about the Cooler Master GX II 750W? Better than Corsair VS650?

Cooler master are known to make worse PSU's then Corsair, I would just keep the one you have.
