Hey Guys! I have an Intel I7-3820 paired with a MSI GTX 780 TwinFrozr, and in games like Battlefield 4, I see really low frames such as 30-50. I sometimes get more than 60, but it never stays there, always drops to like 40-50. For my GTX 780, I am using MSI Gaming App to overclock it to it's turbo clock speed, 1110MHz. My processor is running at the stock clock speeds, 3.6GHz. If anyone can help me fix this or find out what's bottlenecking, I appreciate it very much. Here are my full pc specs
os: windows 8.1 pro 64-bit
mb: asus sabertooth x79 (lga2011)
cpu: intel core i7-3820 @ 3.6ghz
ram: 8.00gb ddr3 1334mhz (9-9-9-24)
gpu: msi geforce gtx 780 twinfrozr 3gb
hdd: 931gb wdc, 600gb wdc external, 335gb seagate, 335gb seagate
So when I play Battlefield 4, no matter what settings i'm playing on, low, high, medium, ultra, I will see the same frames, no increase or decrease.

done that, doesn't change anything. The fact that on every setting, I get the same frames means something is going wrong.

Only 8GB ram on a quad channel system, I would have expected 16GB.
Also, it's running at 1333MHz, it should really be 1600MHz and above.
What resolution is your screen running at?

I have a feeling, and it's only a feeling, your system could be held back by a bad configuration of ram (either too small, too slow, and/or running dual/single channel in a quad channel system).

My screen resolution is at 1080p 60hz
I have 4 sticks of 2gb ram, Idk if this is the problem. I'm planning on buying a 250gb ssd in a week, and after that Corsair Vengance Pro 16gb ram.

Even if it was running in single channel it would not be a big impact on bf4 ram speed these days is really just marketing you would not see a difference between 1600 or 1333 in the real world

So umm I did what unknownofprob said, uninstalled msi gaming app and installed asus gpu tweak, and now i get constant 100 frames on bf4, ultra with msaa off. When I have msaa on, I get 70 constant frames, so it should be higher but ehh. Seems kinda odd that it was msi gaming app doing this.
