Build At the moment:
CPU: AMD FX-6100
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB 1600Mhz
MOBO: Asus M5A78L-M LX
GPU: NVDIA Geforce 550Ti
PSU: Aerocool StrikeX 600W

Questions:
1. I am planning to get an Asrock 990FX Extreme9 for my Mobo, and I want to know if my current PSU will support the Asrock Extreme9 and my current components?

2.What PSU brand and Wattage would you recommend to support the mobo Asrock Extreme9
and my current components?

3.(off-topic) which is a better choice of a motherboard Asrock 990FX Exreme9 or the Asrock 990fx professional fatal1ty?

Additional Questions

1. I'm planning on Changing my GPU from NVDIA Geforce 550Ti to ASUS GTX 760 DirectCU II OC 2GB 256bit
and my Mobo from Asus M5A78L-M LX to Asrock 990FX Extreme9 and retain my Current PSU, will the Aerocool StrikeX 600W be enough?

2. If I change my PSU: Aerocool StrikeX 600W, which of these is best suited as a replacement:
Corsair CX600 600W 80Plus Bronze OR Seasonic S12II 620W 80PLUS Bronze
note: MOBO: Asrock Extreme9 and GPU: Asus GTX 760 for reference replacement PSU.

3. If I am to Overclock both my CPU and GPU is the 600W/620W enough for the build?
note: MOBO: Asrock Extreme9 and GPU: Asus GTX 760 as reference for overclocking CPU & GPU.

1. Your mobo will only draw an over estimate of 150 watts, so yes your psu is good.

2. Xfx, corsair and seasonic. 500 watts is enough for your system.

3. Both mobo are good, the one on sale or less expensive is better

Note: you did not specify if your going to overclock so this is my answer.
