I just bought myself a 1300 dollar intel rig and used my old hdd until recently I ordered a Samsung evo pro 256 gb. Just want to use it for all my games and windows, and basically anything else that is going to run quicker on the ssd . How do I go about installing windows on it and transfering the application and what not?

If you have a big enough HDD you can make a new partition for your files and then clone your windows partition on to the SSD with this:

Or there might be preinstalled software on your ssd
