My previous PSU (Thermal Take TR2 900w) was okay, infact I ran my computer 24/7 with OC'd GPU but there's just two problems with this PSU, since it's a 900w PSU and clearly not modular (and also cheap) it comes with a BUNCH of useless wires! Second problem is that I have to disable the CPU power saving feature because it gives off this scratchy noise when it changes the CPU clock (it doesn't make a noise if the clocks aren't changing, doesn't matter how high the OC is), now I decided to take on a new leaf and upgrade my PSU, my current rig is

Mboard: P67-GD65
CPU: i7-2600
GPU: EVGA GTX 570

my eyes are currently on that cheap Aerocool Strike-X 600w Modular PSU, but I've heard bad reviews about it, so I'm currently undecided. Furthermore budget is limited to $100 (Php 5,000) :D

Solution
You don't need it to be fully modular, as the only extra cables that are detachable on the modular are the 24pin and 4/8 pin that is needed whatever. SO best get a better PSU for the same price. Bets get something like a Corsair CS650M

I've decided to go for Antec HCG-620 Modular, it's the only one available in my area (don't trust online buy/sell here in my country), will it suffice? I've heard it's a Tier 1 Class A PSU so...
