I'm trying to find the right monitor for the gaming setup I'm going to build soon, but I don't know exactly what would be best for the build. I want to play generally fast-paced games like fps-es, and new games coming out. My budget is about $150-200 but I would prefer around the 150 range. Here's the build if it helps at all, maybe give me some input on the monitor I have selected already.

I really like the look, because it's the same model, but is it a negative effect if the monitor is 60hz vs 120hz? Am I missing out if I end up getting a computer with 60hz?

On the first monitor (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236117) I see only this about refresh rate:

Horizontal Refresh Rate: 31 - 79 KHz
Vertical Refresh Rate: 56 - 75 Hz

Nothing about 120Hz.

Where are you seeing 120Hz?

You won't be able to visually see the frames at anything higher than 60FPS. Your card may perform at 100FPS on a game, but you will only visually see 60 if you get a 60Hz monitor. There is no "negative" impact, 60FPS is the sweet spot where everyone strives to be at, on the highest settings possible, but I do know a few people who would argue that they can tell a difference between the 60Hz and 120Hz+ Monitors.

Sorry, I was just reading this website http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/do-you-need-a-120hz-or-240-hz-monitor/#!JvI0M I realize that a 240hz monitor is out of the question but if I pay the extra money for a higher end graphics card would there be noticeable screen tearing because the monitor would be 60hz and the graphics card would be putting out more frames?
