Hi guys! Sorry if this has been asked before but i have to know ? I have the above motherboard and i want to buy a new 1 tb hdd from western digital which has sata 3. I googled something myself and discovered that i have 6 sata ports. Are they compatible with the sata 3 HDD? Will it be compatible with my motherboard? Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

Yes they will be compatible. There are three versions of the SATA interface: SATA 1, SATA 2, and SATA 3. Most SATA 3 HDDs (like the one you are getting) are backwards compatible with SATA 2. The Western Digital 1TB HDD you are buying is compatible with SATA 3 and also SATA 2. So it doesn't matter if your Mother Board has SATA 2 or SATA 3, it will still work.
