Just keep in mind that Microsoft decided not to develop this anymore.
v1 of WHS is based on Windows Server 2003
WHS 2011 is based on Windows Server 2008

Microsoft Server Essentials http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/server-cloud/products/windows-server-2012-r2-essentials/default.aspx has most of the functions of WHS (including client's backup), but does not have Drive Extender. Unfortunatrly, it is much more expensive ($500) than WHS ($100)
