hi my verbatim 500gb hard drive will not up on my apple mac laptop pro, when i plug it in it just makes a quit beeping noise for about 10-30 seconds and then stops. i bought the hard drive about a month ago??
help me please??

i am still having a bit of a problem though, when i get to the 5th instruction i am unable to find my hard drive in the side bar on the left?

the drive did work for about a month and now has stopped working. and i think i will return it
