CPU lever hard to press

Hello Im currently building my first pc
I seated the cpu properly i5 4440 motherboard msi b85m e33 but the lever is hard to press I feel like the mobo is going to break didn't tried past half.English not main language
 
Solution
Also, don't try to install the CPU with the motherboard already in the case. You will be better off putting the motherboard on a hard surface with the antistatic bag in between. Install the CPU that way so you aren't bending the motherboard while trying to push down the lever or install the CPU cooler.

Some times the arm is stiff so take out the cpu and try pulling down the lever and see if it will go all the way down. If it does then put the cpu in and pull the lever down. Remember to make sure the cpu is in the right orientation with the socket and dont wiggle the cpu (you dont want to break any pins). Also make sure the motherboard is on a rigid surface as if its on the box the box could be flexing and making it harder for the lever to be pulled down.
