Recently I have been getting BSOD sometimes for various reasons (System service exception/memory management/page fault in non paged area...). One of the things I was told to try was memtest on my ram. I used memtest86 and returned 35000 errors.
I'm using two sticks of ram so decided to take one out and then run memtest again to see which ram had the error but now my pc isn't starting, its just loading up the fans for a few seconds then shutting down again. I have tried 3 different sticks of ram in each of the four slots and am still having this issue. When I try and start without ram the same thing happens (no beep on motherboard either)
As the ram used to be working (at least most of the time) could this be a motherboard issue? Or is there anyway to ensure my ram is inserted correctly?

I'm not sure what the third stick of ram is, it's only 4gb but I was using it fine before ^^ came
