Display Driver Crashes Hard

Okay, I have been looking and looking for an answer to this everywhere. When I play games, like gmod and arma 2, my display drivers crash so badly that my monitor goes to sleep and then says that my pc isn't even connected to it! Okay, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling my drivers to no avail, I have tried setting the launch options in the games, checking for an update for directx. I just feel like there is no fix. I have an AMD R7 200 2GB graphics card. If you need any other info just ask, because I would really like to play games, and also if this is in the wrong section I am sorry. I just want a fix.

Its possible the GPU itself is bad, which happens from time to time. Have you tried different versions of Catalyst? Do other GPU accelerated tasks like video also crash the drivers?

I have tried different versions of catalyst yes, and my GPU I doubt is bad it runs everything else fine plus it only crashes some games. Like gmod and dayz epoch and mount and blade with fire and sword. But I can play portal two fine and watch youtube videos in 1440p

Might be VRAM related; a single bad bit could kill you only in games that need to use all of it. Could also be temp related at full load, given Portal doesn't really stress the GPU that much.

Well when I play DayZ it's using Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. But last night for a test, I played Arma 3 and I did not have any problems. So does this mean it is the games fault? Or does my PC just not want me to play certain games?
