So this is the second time im trying to upgrade my pc's ram.

First i tried to upgrade using ddr3, which obviously didnt work, so now i just wanna make sure everything will go smooth.

My motherboard is an ASUSTeK Benicia and it supports 8GBs (64 bits pc), PC2-5300 (667 MHz) and PC2-6400 (800 MHz).

i found some 2x2gb kingston RAM in ebay and it looks good, but i just wanna make sure.

i want to upgrade from 2.5 to 6, removing the 500MB i have and leaving the 2x1GB i already have

Below are the links to the RAM and to my motherboard Specs:

Hope one of you can help me.

If that memory you found is 667 or 800 ddr2 it should work as you want. having 2x1gb and 2x2gb. Make sure you have it in right sockets as it use dual channel. Same colored sockets for same size of memory.
Just last classic comment > you have to have 64 bit OS to use that memory properly, but i guess you know that already. It's best to have same speed of memory as your 2x 1 gb modules, but if you wont have np, motherboard should slow down those 2 new memories.

ye i know about the 64bit part. i didnt knew about that color part so thank you. 333 MHz is the speed of the 2x1gb pair. will it slow down the 2x2gb to 333mhz too?

Yes it's better to have same speed. Motherboard / cpu memory bus can't operate on 2 different speed levels so it always slow down faster modules to speed of that slower. Also it allow better compatibility if you do not mix different speeds.
That 333mhz is actually 333x2 = 666/667 (that PC2-5300 as you wrote), real speed is always half of advertised speed. It's because how DDR ram works but that is not really important.

Yes it's best. If you wont be able to get them at that speed you can try that faster 800mhz just they will perform at 667mhz speed.
