I am building a gaming computer coming up for a birthday, and I have it all built, I have a optical drive and a HDD, so they are uneeded. I have a limitation of approximately 700 dollars.

Below is the build I put together and would like any suggestions, preferably to lessen cost or increase the efficiency of the parts. Or any notices for anything that needs to be changed. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, and I will check back later tonight.

My main restrictions is that I would like to avoid AMD products. Prefer quad core, and GeForce Graphics, otherwise I am pretty free on everything else.

I think your build is pretty close to as good as you are going to get at that price point. You did a really good job at finding a low cost i5 as well as a decent motherboard. You went with a fine kit for memory. I would say though that if you ever intend to get a more beefy graphics card you may be a bit limited as to what you can do because of your power supply. I think though for 700 dollars I would be quite happy with this setup. Do you live near a micro center by chance?

It may be worth while for you to check out there bundles you may save some money.Up to you really.

Total cost from your motherboard and cpu = $255.36
