Hi

As the title says really; Which would work better for Skyrim ENB Mods and various other GPU Intensive games. I may be purchasing 2 GTX 760s but each card will be bought one at a time. I want you to treat it as if I wasn't getting the 760. Which would be better a 660 SLI or an r9 270 Crossfire. From my own knowledge I know that AMDs drivers aren't the best for Crossfire. Give your opinions!

Thanks.

You are better off taking that money and applying it to a single more powerful card. While in most games, SLI and Crosffire handle well, there are plenty of games where it won't handle as well and in some cases, not at all or worse than a single card. You also get smoother more consistent FPS from a single card and the higher end cards have more VRAM which might be an issue in an SLI/CF setup in time.

SLI and Crossfire make the most sense when dealing with higher end cards, when you are wanting greater performance than a single card can give. Even if the SLI setup beats a single cards FPS by 20%, the single card frame rate will feel smoother.
