Best Computer Speakers Under $100!

Hi,
I have about $100 that I am willing to spend on speakers for my computer. I am not a huge basshead or anything, but I do enjoy quality sound and depth.

I was looking at the Bose Companion 2 Series III, along with the Companion 2 Series II, and some 2.1 systems. What would you reccomend?

Thank you!

Cool! Thanks! I like the Bose name, so how do those compare directly (the Companion 2 series III)? Also, do you have any sub-$50 recommendations, because I'd rather spend a bit less...

SR-71 Blackbird, do you have the Companion 2 series III? How is bass and volume?

Terry4536, thank you! Is Creative a good brand then? I haven't really seen them before, and they are frankly kinda ugly, but is sound 1st class? Bose is particularly known for sound and i'm not sure on Creative.

Yes, the Creative brand produces some really good Computer Speakers. I think the best I've heard were some Boston Accoustic speakers. I am something of a high fidelity fan, and I was very impressed.

I have Bose in my car, and they are good OEM speakers. Of course, the Bose 901's have been legendary for 25 years or so.

Thank you for both of your help. I will have to make a decision between the Bose Companion 2 Series II or III, or the Creative T20, after some further research. I will probably go to Best Buy and listen to them.

Thank you!
