I have heard of apu temps not working well with temp reading programs and its true! Hwmonitor shows 85C on load... even though the heatsink is cold to the touch, and I'm using arctic silver 5. Core temp doesn't work at all, the temp says n/a. Im using an mdi fm2 a75 e35. My APU is an A6 6400K. PLEASE help me find a temp monitor that works!!!!

Hi,

I have an AMD A10-5800K and also have the same dilemma. My CPU peaks at 100C and idles at 50-60C on HWMonitor, and I use a Cooler Master heatsink and Artic Silver 5.

I have found the motherboard's utilities, or the BIOS to be the best. I have tried tons of other programs, and found nothing good. What motherboard do you have? I can help you from there.

I have an MSI FM2 A75 E35 Motherboard. An MSI, like yours. What do you use?

I have an MSI FM2 A75 E35 Motherboard. An MSI, like yours. What do you use?

I use MSi's Command Center. I got it from MSi's motherboard page for my specific motherboard, but I checked yours and it doesn't have it... try mine: http://msi.com/product/mb/A88XME45.html#/?div=Utility&o...

Download "Command Center." It isn't a quality program, but it will show you good temps!
