the 560 448 is vastly superior to your 460 but it also consumes much more power, about 60 more watts. without knowing the quality/model of your power supply and how much consistent wear and tear your system has had on it over time, it may not be suppling its full 500w anymore and i think a q6600+gtx560ti448 might not be leaving very much head room.

it really depends on how much money you are spending vs what. i personally would pay $50 more for a card brand new generation card rather than risk going with an old used card. the amd r7-265 would be your best bet for $150 right now, but bumping your budget up $20 to $170 gets an r9-270 which is a much...

Worth buying based on what? The 560 Ti 448 is roughly as powerful as a GTX 570. Both are obsolete.

i wouldn't say they are obsolete... their faster than the gtx750ti or r7-260x.

also the gf110 is just as fast as a gk110 in opencl/opengl application performance.

the 560ti 448 core gf110 chip is considerably faster than the 560ti gf114 chip.

what are you buying the 560 ti 448 for? how much are you selling your 560ti for? how big is your power supply and what is the rest of your system specs? you can buy a new card for just over $150 that will be slightly faster, quieter, cooler, and consume less power with a brand new warranty and no miles on it.

you say your seeing a 1.5gb? i would double and triple check that. if this is true then the gtx660 you are looking at is an "oem" version based on the gk104 chip which is noticeably faster than the regular gtx660 that is based on the gk106.

in a sense, the gtx660 oem is one step slower than the powerful gtx760, and far far faster than the 560 ti 448.

Nvidia makes the GPU they then distribute the GPUs to 3rd parties like EVGA, ASUS, Gigabyte etc. to manufacture the actual video card. Nvidia does not make entire video cards just the graphics chips.

The GTX 660 is much faster than a GTX 560 Ti 448.
