I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop that is (2) years old. When the external "UPSTAR" brand monitor is attached with a VGA cable we still have "yellow" tinted background.
We tried other VGA cables and the screen is yellow. I had (2) knowledgable than I, computer people try different settings. We tried supposedly updated downloads and still have same results.
Is there the possibility that the power supply in the laptop is not enough for this monitor? Is there such a thing as a "power booster" VGA type cable that might fix the problem?
