recover files from hard disc

Hi. My pc when turned on showed windows found your hdd faulty. So I formatted it. Now I cant re install windows. Now what I need is..

IS THERE ANY WAY TO RECOVER FILES FROM A INTERNAL HARDDISC WHICH DOES NOT HAV AN OS IN IT?? EASE HELP..MY OFFICE FILEA ARE IN IT

Why did you format it if there were important files on it?
Formatting cannot fix a a faulty hard drive.

Getting access to your files would have been much easier and more certain if you had not formatted it. By formatting there is a risk that some of the files were damaged. Anyway, proceed as follows:

1) Install the drive as a second drive in another working Windows PC.

2) Now try partition recovery software, free one here: http://www.partition-recovery.com/

Whatever happens, you will need to buy a new hard drive for your PC because, as I said earlier, a faulty hard drive cannot be fixed. You will, of course, have to install Windows on the new hard drive after installing it inside your PC.

And in future, back up all...

Sometimes I just cannot believe or understand how people can have very important files but they never even think about keeping backups of them.
