Yes I do admit I'm a noob at this but I would really like some help.
I read this http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/288241-31-buyer-guides-troubleshooting-tips
But it still wont work.
The Pc I am building is the one listed here.
http://secure.newegg.ca/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=29737167
The only thing I changed was that I used a different Ram stick here.
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148653&Tpk=n82e16820148653
Yet the Pc simply wont turn on. I followed a video tutorial on how to and I think I did everything right. I did think it would be a good chance I wouldn't get it right my first time but I still don't know what the problem is.
Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a decent build.

Things to check: Did you plug the power cables in from the PSU to the Motherboard (large connector) + the CPU power (4 pin connector)?

Did you plug the PCI Express power cable into the graphics card (it won't work without it)?

Did you connect the case power button correctly to the motherboard (check the manual for the pin out of the 'front panel connector' and ensure 'PWR SW' is connected to the power pins)?

If all of the above is ok you should be able to boot to bios. If nothing happens ensure your ram is seated properly (the clips both sides are locked in and its sitting fully down into the connector on the board). Also check that the CPU and Graphics card are seated well. Final checks- remember there is a power switch on that PSU as well as the button on the case!

Final thing to note, your motherboard may not support the FX 6300 out of the box as looking on the Asus website it requires Bios version 1201 or newer. That shouldn't prevent it starting up but it might (read the motherboard manual for the best way to update the bios if needed).

Everything is plugged in. One thing I did notice while looking though the manual of the mother board was that the F-panel seemed to be upside down (a pin was missing on the bottom right instead of the top right like the case) yet the label on the MB shows its correct but I tried flipping the wires anyways. It didn't work, before I got a red light when I pressed the power but now I don't so I flipped them back. Could this maybe be part of the problem and I just tried the wrong solution?
