I hooked up my new ssd and it isn't being recognized wat exactly do I have to do. Do I need to do something in bios. Just give me a rough idea so I can figure this out. Thanks

Solution
If the correct ports are enabled in the bios, it will appear on the bios startup screen when you powerup your pc . You may not be able to see them unless you disable a setting like full screen logo.
If you miss it go into the bios by pressing the delete key or one of the Fkeys depending on your motherboard ,you should see your primary storage somewhere in the 1st menu or 2nd menu. Read up your BIOS documentation for more information
Hi Jordanasb8,
are you using it to install an operating system on or as another drive,
if another drive ,
right click my computer/manage/disk management
this will show every drive attatched to your pc , right click on the correct drive and format/ntfs
