Hi this is my first post :)

I have an ASUS P8H61-M LE/USB3 and I want to upgrade my whole PC but I don't have sufficient money now, so I'll buy a GTX 780ti now .. will it work properly on the H61 motherboard, even if it won't give me the best performance as the ASUS H61 has only PCI-e 2.0 .. but all that will be temporary until I upgrade the whole case. So shall I go and buy it ?

also will it fit for this small motherboard or it will hit my hard disk inside the case ?

it'll work without any troubles in that board, PCI-E X16 2.0/3.0 run at the exact same speed and there is no difference (as X16 is the fastest slot speed), only difference is that 3.0 has new BIOS settings, that's it, no performance difference.

A good choice to get it now, then incorporate later.

you should, BUT it depends if your current PSU can handle the card, current ram and current CPU. What are they?
