agreed, but it depends on your motherboard and CPU cooler also, the Z87 boards do offer better overclocking abilities rather then the boards of the Intel extreme edition CPU's.
So yes, it should be just as good depending on the motherboard, and CPU cooler is required also if you decide to overclock.

yes, X at the end means the very best K that exists. (in the case of 4930K versus 4960X it's a few hundred more Mhz added to the cpu and 4mb extra L3 cache - and 400$ added to the price tag ---- bragging rights as i said above)
