My motherboard went out and I have no clue where to start.. I am trying to find a good motherboard that is compatible with everything I have and is decent but no more than $120.

Here is a link to the specs of the desktop http://www.cnet.com/products/gateway-gt5676-phenom-x4-9600-2-3-ghz-4-gb-640-gb/specs/

I have replaced and added a few things since buying it years ago.

*I upgraded my RAM
*Replaced power supply with EVGA bronze 600w
*installed ASUS HD7750-1GD5-V2 AMD Radeon HD 7750 VGA 1 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
* Replaced hard drive with Western Digital WD1002FAEX Caviar Black 1 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache Internal Desktop 3.5" Hard Drive

I don't know anything at all as far as motherboards go.. I don't want to get anything that is not compatible with what I have. Any advice would be extremely appreciated!

Some advice I would have is to go to a website called PCPartPicker. Select everything except your motherboard, and when you are ready to choose a motherboard, or view them... it should only show the compatible motherboards. In terms of what motherboard would be best, I can't help you there. But this should at least show you what is compatible.
