Hello! this is my 1st time writing here but i will try to provide any info i can.

A few months ago my speakers started to make a loud buzzing sound so i tried to change the speakers but it turns out it's from the PC. I tried giving it to a specialist to look at it after a few days but when he tried the sound was working normally. Since then it happened a few times and it usually lasts from a few hours to 2 days. I realised that i also have no control over the volume by changing it from the sound manager because it only emitted full volume or mute. It's really annoying and i have no clue on what to do.

Extra info: I have a pretty old computer that i use for mostly games and they work at least on low so i didn't really plan on spending money on it. It has a realtek sound card but i'm not sure of the exact model

The sound card could finally be going bad. Or there could be a grounding issue with the speakers.

i think it may be from the sound card because i tried with different speakers and headphones and it does the same thing. My problem is that it's just randomly doing it and than for a few months it all works well.

Try a new sound card. I've had experiences in the past where the sound card didn't work all-of-a-sudden, then the motherboard went bad.
