I've been using my external hard drive regularly, and safely remove it (<--- WOW )...
Then one night, I safely removed it, and slept. In the morning, it suddenly didn't work.
I tried searching all solutions for this, but it always said that I needed to format before I can use it.

Then I noticed that before it was Drive E:/ now it is Drive F:/

Then, I tried quick formatting. It said formatting failed. I checked drive manager and it said my HDD was healthy, and I tried formatting it (the long way), and it also failed.
I used command prompt, and it also failed.

Can you please help me solve my problem? And also, can you suggest a software for restoring lost data?

Solution
Hi,

If it's not under warranty anymore, you can try and take it out of the case and try plugging it directly in the computer.
From there try to format or repair it.

If it fails, not much you can do, you have a dead disk.

Technically, I still didn't format it even once, since it failed...
I just came up of an idea of making a partition, then recovering all things and put it in the new partition. Is this possible? Or the new partition will still not work?

Recovering data must be done on a separate disk; not on the same disk.

Actually, I don't have enough "important" files but my games that I don't want to download again, which takes very long. Are games restorable though?

With the opening of my HDD, IDK how to open it, there are no screws or stuff that hold it :p
