Computer Turning On Then Off Repeatedly, No Display

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a new motherboard, CPU, and RAM. When I turn the computer on (new components plugged in), the heatsink fan turns on and it sounds like the computer will start but then it shuts off for a second or two. Then it will start up again, doing the same thing where it starts the fans for only a second and then turns off. If I leave the computer alone, this just keeps happening over and over. I went back and plugged my old system back together and it boots up just fine with the same power supply (different motherboard, CPU, and RAM). With the new components plugged in, I never get a display (plugged into motherboard display).

System Specs
:
PSU: Corsair GS600
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-D2V
CPU: Intel Core i5-4570
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 1600
Hard Drive: WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive: 3.5 Inch, 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64 MB Cache
GPU: GeForce GTX 770 (although this is not plugged in when I try to boot the computer)

Is my power supply enough for this motherboard and CPU? My only two guesses so far are a faulty motherboard or faulty RAM... Anyone have any insights or suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

well what I was getting at with the hdd is that 1... you need to reinstall windows not just ''move it over'' also if the drive has an OS on it and the drive is set up as a ahci/ide/raid you need to set the bios for that but it will still loop with a copy of windows that's not for that computer so your back to a fresh install anyway.. when you said your ols part work well when you put it back in that the first thing I seen on that .

Hi,

I did check out the socket the best I could. I took a magnifying glass and looked for any bent pins but I didn't see any. Then I've tried to reset the heatsink fan a few times. Can thermal paste expire? Perhaps the thermal paste I put on it is getting in the way?

I have a hard drive that I bought within the last year.
