So I'm wanting to upgrade my GPU and I'm stuck between buying another 7770 and crossfiring or just buying a R7 265 and wanted to get you guys' opinions on it. I know people are gonna come right out of the gate telling me about micro-stutter and what not but honestly, it isn't much of a problem anymore and even so, it really doesn't bother me that much. That said, I'm more interested in what's gonna get me more power. The R7 265 is about $150 on Newegg and a 7770 is about $120 so there's not too much of a difference. What do you guys think?

Hard to say, I'm also considering either getting another 7770 (or R7 250x if it can be CF with 7770). I know that two 7770's in CF perform about the same as a 7950 without the amount of vram obviously. I would say go for CF setup if you can find a cheap 7770 unless you want to wait for the R9 270x to comes down in price over the summer (if it does) Its around $230 atm and has 4gb of memory.

Here's a little chart showing some figures.. you can see the HD 7950 only 1% over the R9 270X

Ironically enough, I just recently found out I don't even have a crossfire-enabled 7770, haha. I think I'm just gonna wait a little bit and buy a R9 270x

Are you sure? What brand/model is it? I've read that if there is not a crossfire cable connector, more than likely it can connect between Pci ports..

I should mention, I might do the same. I'm getting 40+ frames in every modern game, crysis 3, bf4, tombraider, farcry 3 etc. With this Sapphire HD 7770 Ghz oc on ultra (yet, optimized with fxaa) at 1080p, so until I either get a 120+hz monitor or there is something I want to play that requires a beefier card this has by far been a surprising yet amazing performance for price.
