Running Game Then screen suddenly goes black

After the screen goes black the sound also stops working. Here's what i got:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Extreme 3.19 GHZ
Graphics Card: GTX 285
driver version: 335.23
Ram: 4 GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit

I was running EQ2 and this is the first time this has happened ever since i started playing this game.

What is the brand and model (not just wattage) of your PSU?
Due to the age of your system, go over your motherboard and graphics card looking for swollen or leaking capacitors. This problem could also be heat-related. Make sure all cooling fans are running, and your heat sinks aren't loaded with dust and hair.
