Good overall keyboard with gaming elements

I'm looking for a new keyboard. I'm a little overwhelmed with all of the different options out there, especially since I want a keyboard that is good for gaming, but still good for work and personal typing, as I do a little bit of everything on my new PC. It doesn't seem like there are many keyboards that are good for everything. I don't have a set budget as the amount I pay will depend on the value I'm getting, but I'm thinking $80-$150. That's a big range, but it will honestly depend on if I can find something that fits all of my needs, vs settling for something that's 80% there and much cheaper.

The things I know that I want for sure and are somewhat nonnegotiable are:

LED backlit, as I game in the dark a lot. Preferably non-white since that's too harsh/distracting for my tastes.

Removable/no wrist rest. I find that wrist rests add too much bulk to the bottom of the keyboard, because my desk has a keyboard tray and I have to roll it out even further/sit further away from my desk to accommodate the extra space.

If it's a mechanical board, NOT Cherry Blue, simply because that's a bit too loud for my tastes. Something similar to the feel, but quieter. Of the two, being quieter (more "not loud" than "super quiet") is more important than similar feel.

I don't want anything that is so hardcore about gaming that it alters the basic key layout (differently shaped backspace/tab/enter keys are fine, but no missing NUM pad like the Razer tourney edition) or adds acres of real estate (the keyboards with LCD displays from Logitech tend to be the most egregious). I am currently using the Ideazon (now SteelSeries) Zboard, and I really like the size of it. I want something that is on the smaller end like this is, but has more features. I was tempted to get the SteelSeries Apex, but it has that dang wrist rest.

Honestly, if Microsoft's Sidewinder x4 was available without a wrist rest, I think I'd have bought that and been perfectly happy getting something so cheap that still meets enough of my criteria. However, since the wrist rest is fixed, I have resigned myself to finding something more expensive that will meet all of my needs and wants.

Aren't brown the loudest? I'm not for 100% sure on it.

No. They are in between Red and Blue. I don't think they are very loud at all, but that's just me.

Browns are not loud at all. It should be very close to the sound of the Reds since they both lack the clicky sound that is found on the Blues. The only difference between the Reds and the Browns is that the Browns have a tactile bump whereas the Reds don't, which is why the Reds are better for rapid clicking.
