So i got my Gpu today and i decided to put it in easy and all but, as i was inserting the gpu in the Pcie slot i heard some weird noises of maybe pins being pushed in.. to me anything im doing right now sounds bad if it makes a noise but it wasnt loud or anything but just worried me because this is my first time building a pc and was just wondering if when inserting a gpu into the top pcie slot would or should make some type of noice when inserting it in?

Solution
As long as it didn't sound like it was breaking anything you should be fine. Inserting a GPU into your motherboard will not be silent. Make sure you push it in all the way, with a firm push. It should be locked into place when you try to pick it up.
