I am looking for a PSU upgrade for my HP P7-1534 PC. This PSU will also have to support a Geforce GTX 660 Graphics Card. I don't know much about PSU upgrades so if there is any additional information needed just reply.
I would recommend something a little more powerful than a CX430. It will work, but it will be at high load (60-70%) when playing any game. That will shorten the power supply's lifetime by a considerable amount. I would go with at least a CX500. This power supply will be best if you can afford it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013
the GTX 660 has a max TDP of 140W so it would work. The only thing is that it will a tight fit in the system with all the thick wires but that is normal with all quality power supplies. I had the cx430 in my p7-1436s running a r7 260x and everything was fine.
You could spend more and get a modular ones to cut down on the amount of wires.

The cable management is crazy with XFX TS 550W in my p7-1436s however it is an excellent PSU. I was hoping that the awards guys would recommend a modular power supply if they had more to spend.
