This scan keeps popping up, it is not my security scan so i assume it is a virus and I cannot get rid of it.

I've ran Microsoft security essentials and malwarebytes and both have not gotten rid of it.

Any ideas? Thank you!

Omg, nevermind, I guess this isn't a virus.

I went to add or remove programs and it was in there.

I guess it's just some stupid program that got installed somehow that likes to pop up randomly?

I uninstalled it. I hope that fixes the issue.

Try AVG free antivirus. Or any of the free ones. Once you install and they update they should remove any virus on your computer

It is a video driver related file and kind of dated I believe. Ageia was the company that developed PhysX. I think it used to be a separate software install and is now included in all nVidia drivers by default.

They thought for a minute they could get into the hardware business(Anyone remember those dedicated physX cards?) before they were hungrily consumed by nVidia.

Well it's gone now.

It literally would just pop up, and by its presentation of 'you've got these errors' and it would finish its scan and essentially say buy me. Sounded like a virus.

Guess not though.

Thanks for the help.
