Is it a fault in my Toshiba laptop ( TechGuys say not ) or is it my TV?
( Tech Guys say yes ) I'm not so sure and feel confused.New display driver installed,newHDMI lead and System Restore carried out. All to no avail. Please,please help.
I should explain that the problem occurs when attempting to access Netflix. It worked o.k. for a few weeks then suddenly,for no apparent reason,the resolution dropped on the monitor and a message appeared on the screen informing us that the resolution was too low to accept the Netflix. As soon as we removed the HDMI lead the resolution on the monitor returned to normal. I hope this is due to something simple!
my Tosh was using Windows 8.1 and I did a System Restore which took me back to Windows 8 but the problem remained the same.
