Hey guys, my current pc is dying on me so i thought id make a cheap barebones kit for gaming.

I thought either build this :
CPU AMD A10-5800K 3.8GHz Quad-Core $129.99
Motherboard MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Micro ATX FM2 $64.75
Memory G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 $95.98
Storage Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM $59.99
Case Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 MicroATX Mid Tower $39.99
Power Supply EVGA 500W ATX12V / EPS12V $49.99
total :$440

or just get some barebone kit from Canada computers or tiger direct and just get a good graphics card in addition so i can run Tera and other games. just light games not too heavy.

Any other barebones suggestions is welcome! just dont go over $440 please!:)

That doesn't look too bad. Do you know why your current PC is dying? You might be able to salvage the HDD and replace the current one with an 120 GB SSD drive. I've seen those around $70.00-$80.00.

The problem with it is over heating i think. I built the pc in 2009 so its 5 yrs old already and i havent changed a thing on it except the thermal paste. I was thinking of changing the heatsink for it but if other problems arises then id just be wasting money on it. Better to build a new system.

And thanks for the suggestion. The barebones link you sent is nice and 4gb is pretty decent its just there's no motherboard and its not an apu so id have to buy a separate gpu and motherboard
