Refresh VRAM on NVIDIA cards?

Hi guys. I'm a BF4 player and I'm playing with the ultra preset in full HD and all other effects on and resolution scale set to 100%. But I only have 2 GB VRAM and it can cause problems after long usage of random stuff on the PC. The problem is that the more stuff I do on my PC (Surfing, Browsing around in Windows Desktop/Metro etc) the VRAM becomes flooded or collects trash. And when this happens i start to run out of VRAM for BF4 and freeze lags up to like 1 second starts to occur often. For example, I have 3 full HD screens and when I'm at battlelog with all other stuff I like to have visual on my other screens my cards use like 260-300 MB VRAM. But after some usage of random stuff the VRAM becomes flooded and when I'm at the exact same scenario as before with the exact same processes running on my PC with exactly the same visuals my card uses 400 MB+ and it just gets worse after more random usage and it won't go away until I restart my PC. I find this very frustrating even tough i got 2 SSDs in RAID 0 cus i have to replace all the stuff back on the same positions on my screens cus the programs doesn't remember the place they got closed on. So my question is if there is any way to refresh the VRAM on NVIDIA cards. And by that I mean either drop all the VRAM and re render windows and everything else or just throw trash out of the VRAM (Cleanup).

My GPUs are: 2x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 OC in SLI

TLDR: Read the stuff in bold.

well i get the same exact problem. after long usage of my pc without restart (4 days). i have opened allot of internet tabs, some have videos and stuff, then later in the day i opened up a game and during the game after a bit, micro lags started to happen and was getting worse the longer i played. i looked into it a bait (for example looked at my video card details on a program) and saw it said i had 0bits vram on my card for some reason. seems strange to me so i was trying to look for a vram monitor or something which i still need to find.
i got the same exact graphic card as the creator of this thread

i was hoping to find a solution here like the guy who created this post: like a refresh Vram button if such a thing exist.
since it happens after long usage of my pc and also a movie i was watching had a bit of freezes some times i think it hast to do with video memory. my normal ram is not even half full and my cpu is at 30% usage

if its not do to Vram then someone enlighten me pls.

i would not like to restart my pc at this moment.

i am google before posting and cant find what im looking so this question he asked to me is understandable

i don't think buying a 4gb vram video card is a proper solution for this simple problem... im not using 3 monitors i believe it has to do with trash building up like HolyDuff said
