When I play metro last light I get about 20-40 fps on max but even if I turn the settings down all the way I see a boost in fps in the menu but as soon as I continue game play it drops right back to 20-40 and its just way to laggy to play. I have a amd 6 core processor and an nvidia geforce 750ti my recommended settings are quite high so I cant find the problem thats slowing me down.

FTGTapGod, can you post your full specs and the settings you're trying it at mate? Last Light is my fav game of all time so I'm determined to help you out here! :D

6120
But the expected frame rate for that card is about 40 on decent settings in a gunfight. I overlock and the fps is 20 walking around no matter the settings

FIXED just turned off advanced physx and it now runs at 200 fps

PhysX should run OK on an nvidia card, it's proprietary to their videocards. Did you install the PhysX drivers when you installed the videocard driver?

Yes I Did but what I've been reading up on is that metro last light is one of those games that really gets improved by physx and it's extremely demanding even on higher end cards. A lot of people run an SLI configuration while just having one card soley doing physx to play metro
