Will be building a sytem: ASUS Hero VI mobo, i74770K cpu, ASUS gtx 780 dcuii oc graphics card.

I have narrowed down my memory to a choice between two, 2400Mhz, 2x8GB memories:

Corsair Vengeance Pro: CMY16GX3M2A2400C11R

or

G.Skill Trident X: F3-2400C10D-16GTX

If they were identical in price, and this was your rig, which would you pick and why!?

Fire away people! :)

Interesting: "For discrete GPU users, recommending any kit over another is a tough call. In light of daily workloads, a good DDR3-1866 C9 MHz kit will hit the curve on the right spot to remain cost effective. Users with a few extra dollars in their back pocket might look towards 2133 C9/2400 C10, which moves a little up the curve and has the potential should a game come out that is heavily memory dependent. Ultimately the same advice also applies to multi-GPU...
Hi pilotsh
Both are really good and reliable brands and quality ram
for me personally i would chose the GSKILL only as a matter of preference , i have never had any issues with GSKILL over many years of pc building
either one will serve you well

For gaming, I wouldn't want 16gb anyway. And I wouldn't pay the price hike for 2400 - it hardly helps gaming at all. If you were video editing or such, then fair enough. But for gaming I'd just pay the now small price difference between 1600 and 1866 to get 1866 ram.
