For a gtx 650 pc you need a minimum of 20A on the 12V rail and 400W over all.

The CX500 will power all that easily.
The CX500 will also handle the Phenom II x6 1090T.

The GTX 770 or R9 280X should be okay on that PSU with the Phenom II x6 1090T. I wouldn't risk anything more than that. A 760 or R9 270X would be safer.

I wouldn't even risk a GTX 770 or a R9 280X on a 500W PSU, that is too close, it would need to be a really good quality PSU. If your playing a game like BF4 with the R9 280X on a 500w PSU, you'll be almost sure you'll get a BSOD.

Back to your question, that'll easily work.
