i am using windows 8 single language ,
now i am having a problem copying and pasting files anywhere on my machine,
whenever i try to paste a file, nothing appears on the selected location. please help me fix this issue i dont want to format my windows nor i want to loose any of my files
please help!!!

Try some Windows Diagnostics to see if the problem can be fixed...
First try System File Checker
Winkey plus 'X'
Choose Command Prompt (Admin)
Type sfc /scannow then Enter

It finds and fixes errors in Windows, but doesn't always report them. Run it and see if the fault disappears after re-booting your system
If corrupt files are found that can’t be fixed, try

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (Observe spaces before /)

Re-run SFC

To view CBS Log

findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt

Search C drive for sfcdetails.txt or navigate to C:\Windows\System32 and scroll down.

Absolutely not! Just finds and fixes Windows files...
I would run Dism even if SFC finds nothing, it compares your Windows with an on-line image and repairs any differences found...

ok, few things to check

1. exactly how are you copy/pasting? mouse, or keyboard shortcuts?
2. How much free space is on your HDD
3. why kind of files/folders and your trying to copy/paste?
4. where are you copying them from/to?

i have tried copying using mouse as well as keyboard shortcuts
i have still 100gb free space on each of my harddrives. I have allowed full control on my HDDs
and no file, folder, exe, doc etc no file types can be copy pasted in short there is no copy paste function available
i am copying them from one HDD to another, Pendrive to HDD and from disk To hdd, nothing works
the copy paste function is unavailable

Suspect we're heading towards the Refresh your PC option, which should solve the problem, but will uninstall any software you've introduced since installing Windows. Your Data will remain untouched.

Do you have any 3rd party Anti Virus installed, Webroot in particular? Seems they can block access to the Clipboard.
Also check to see if you have 'Send to Bluetooth' Add-in installed in Microsoft Office, and consider removing.
From elsewhere...
Uninstall the "Send to Bluetooth Add-In".

First find the location of the Add In dll:

to find the btsendto_office.dll go to File/Options/Add-In select the Send to add in and observe the path at the bottom of the screen

Close all office applications and unregister the Add In with:

regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\Bluetooth Software\btsendto_office.dll"
(Use elevated CMD Prompt)

If you don't like the result re register the Add In with

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\Bluetooth Software\btsendto_office.dll"
