My C drive in which Windows is installed has a total of 148Gb.

The total space used in "Properties" is 136Gb.

Whereas if I calculate the Space Used by opening the drive and selecting all folders the total is 103Gb.

33Gb of space is Unaccounted for.

I have turned off Hibernation, Ran Ccleaner, defraggler as well.

I don't have much space left on my PC and can't afford to buy a new HDD anytime soon.

How Do I use this space for storage and not let it waste ?

More about : space unaccounted windows drive

Mostlikely those will be hidden files, which you normally do not see unless you allow it in folder options.
Reason for that is so users won't mess with these files as some may be important for OS.

To get space try to run disk cleanup over your C drive with options to delete old backup/shadow copies and clean all including system files. That may give you few extra GB.

Do you have Windows Backup enabled?
This should help see what's on your drive

That is normal. I got 256gb ssd with 238gb listed as drive C. Current status it show is 68,5/238 free space.
When I select all I got on drive C it give me just 136GB which mean 33,5GB missing. When I select to show also hidden files i get to 163 GB. That is still about 6,5GB missing but there may be still some hidden spaces on disk/folders which do not get counted in.

You can go to folder options in control panel and select to show you hidden files so you can do new count. But as I said this is normal behaviour.
