Hi all,

I want to change my system memory (Corsair DOMINATOR DDR3 1600) with the kit CMX12GX3M3A2000C9 (12 Gb 2000Mhz C9).

I have a few question abut this change:

1) Can I have a problem to make the most of this memory in function of installed processor? I have a Intel I7-950 (3,06Ghz) on ASUS SABERTOOTH X58 with last Bios (1304)?

2) Entering in BIOS, in the DDR Settings, I don't see the "2000Mhz" value, but I see only 1066, 1333, 1600 1833, 2133 and 2400 Mhz. If I install these modules, I see the correct frequencies?

3) Will this RAM at-least work on 1833 Mhz ?

Thanks

Solution
Yes, can prob run 2133 w/ little to no problem even, may reuire a slight OC of the CPU, dropping to 1833/1866 can prob tighten timings and get near 2000 performance
