I have just bought a gigabyte ga-ma770-ds3 motherboard, I have self assembled it myself, everything powers up fans lights fan on graphics card, the lot but I am just not getting a video signal from my card to monitor, I have tried all different leads that I know work the graphics card works in another computer, I dont know how to assemble computers proffesionaly so I have just put everything in the correct place on the motherboard l, do I need any software be for turning the pc on to give me a video signal? I am so lost and need this computer working asap.

Thank you in advance :)

should work right out of the box atleast to get into the bios .. you said the card worked in another computer but did you use the same monitor if not then check that out and be sure the monitor is ok.. if the monitor is fine then were into something like doa pci-e slot or the power supply is not feeding it power as it needs [???] also to try is another card that known to work to see if it will in your board to see if there is a compatibly issue [you just never know]...

I got a new vid card that works fine with no issues with everything but a CRT monitor . I did just like yours but then I hooked it to a flat screen monitor and it worked then to a hdtv and it worked then to 2 other CRT monitors and nothing blank screens [sapphire] so it can be just about anything . just a lot of trial and error
