AMD Gaming PC Build, Yet more to Upgrade..........Need Suggestions !!!!

Hi All,

I am from india and I am building a Gaming RIG, this is my first build, need recomendations.

I had a PC with the below specification:

Motherboard : Foxconn A88GMV
Processor : AMD Athlon XII 270
RAM : Kingston 2GB DDR3 RAM (KVR1333D3N9/2G)
HDD : Seagate Barracuda 500 GB and Seagate 160 GB
Graphics Card : Sapphire 5450 2GB
Power Supply : Zebronics 450W
Cabinet : Zebronics


I have upgrade few components from the above PC, My current configuration is mentioned below

Motherboard : MSI 990FXA-GD65
Processor : AMD Athlon XII 270
RAM : Kingston 2GB DDR3 RAM (KVR1333D3N9/2G)
HDD : Seagate Barracuda 500 GB and Seagate 160 GB
Graphics Card : Sapphire 5450 2GB
Power Supply : Corsair CX600 600W
Cabinet : Antec X1-T


In near future i will upgrade the Processor, Graphic Card, RAM and CPU Cooler. Below are the components which i am planning to buy:

Processor : AMD FX-6300
Graphic Card : SAPPHIRE R9 270X / R9 280X
RAM : Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB (1600MHz)
CPU Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO


Open for suggestions, Please advise.

That is very nice indeed :) However, i would suggest you might want a little more ram. While the 4gb should be just about enough for most games, its always nice to have a little extra for the operating system to use as it likes and store copies of files accessed reguly to speed up the system a little.
I'd reccomend getting 2 4gb sticks of ram

Otherwise, it looks great! I own the fx-6300 and i have no complaints whatsoever. I have heard nothing but good about the 270 and 280x cards, and the hyper 212 evo is widely held to be a really great cooler.
