So my friend asked me help him build a new system for his 3d renedering and modeling stuff.
I dont know(and feeling lazy to search much) whether a regular GPU would be good in 3-d rendering or not. I know for video editing and all an i5(3rd/4th gen) performs way better than an AMD APU(7700k).
I am confused whether to recommend get him an i5 or an amd apu 7700k.
Another thing is that the price for 7700k here is very close to the i5 4440. So any advice and suggestion regarding this would be really appriciated.
And please if you can do give reasons and link to some benchmarks if you find any.
