help with fps spiikes in all my games

hi there i have a amd a8 5600k with stock cooler and a amd r9 270x boost and all of my game, just seem to have fps spikes really cant figure out why any help.

What are the normal FPS and what are the spikes like? Every game will have areas that are more taxing than other and those can cause spikes if your settings have the card on the edge of playability.

If your setting the settings for games so that your FPS is not very high (45-35) then the game will at different points that require more power go down. You see this in every benchmark the Avg FPS may be 80 but the low FPS may be 40. So if your avg is 45 the low may be 20 or 10. In that case just adjust the setting to a lower level. If this is not whats happening then let me know.

to be honest i just paid for a new gpu for better fps in games and dont get it i do think my cpu must be trottling it doesnt get hot really am thinling of just packing pc gaming in and going with a ps4
