Ok ladies and gentlemen, I am trying to put together a great PC for gaming and media center. The reason it has to do both is because my wife wouldn't understand any reason for having more than one PC. And without any further ado here is what I have picked so far:

Case - I already have the case it's a Thermaltake Core V71 Extreme Full Tower Chassis. The case was used so I got a good deal and it has lots of room

CPU - I want to go with an intel i7 4770k because I want to overclock it later on. And it will increase the time between upgrading.

MOBO - Here is where I keep running into a road block since this PC will be used for both gaming and as a media center to stream to 3 different smart tv's. Price is not really an issue since I'm building it bit by bit. Any advise would be helpful. I like the ASUS boards like the ASUS SABERTOOTH Z87 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard.

SSD - I already have a SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive to house my OS.

HD - The hard drive isn't really an issue it just basically needs to hold at least 3-4 TB of data and run well with the rest of the build. I am not against having multiple hd's because I have plenty of space in the case.

GPU - The graphics card is another problem. I want a good one that will run a good resolution for some FPS games and my old favorite Doom 3d! Also I'm not against running 2 graphics cards for better performance.

PSU - I am wide open about the choice on power supply. I am leaning toward a fully modular PSU because of how easy it is to use when assembling.

Cooling - The case it very well ventilated so in just planning for future overclocking. Water cooled or not?

I would appreciate any advice please help.

Budget?

Mobo id say asus hero $200. Gives great gaming and plenty of wifi/sata for media center options.

HHD, WD blue/black size depending on how much you want and how much willing to spend.

GPU - http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107.html read that, pick a budget, buy the recommended card.

Cooling: pick a budget. Decent coolermaster hyper evo is $30, noctura beast fan type $90. Corsair h100/100i/110 $110, custom kit $300-1000

PSU: Corsair, Evga, XFX, Seasonic pick something 80 plus gold/platinum/bronze and probably stick with 650w maybe more (don't need this much now but beats buying a new one later)
